JAY Z SIGNS CHER LLOYD TO ROC NATION
So it looks like Jay Z has signed Cher Lloyd to Roc Nation. Pretty dissapointing if true... Not only is Cher talentless as we saw in X-Factor, but there SO many good artists out there who Jay could of signed, rather then opting for investing in a TV show reject. Surely Willow Smith is priority number 1 right now??

'Need To Know' Interviews Writer Dream Hampton About Co-Writing 'Decoded'
I gotta lotta respect for Dream Hampton. In the 90's i used to read her work in the Source Magazine, as a lot of us did, and she was definatley one of the stand out writer s not only in the Source but in Hip Hop in the 90's. The lady knows her stuff, so i was glad to hear that Jay reached out to her, to help on the Decoded project. Check out this short interesting interview with her.

TEENA MARIE RIP
Legendary 80's Soul singer Teena Marie AKA Lady T has died today. Marie was the protegee of Rick James and was best known for here hits Square Biz, Portugese Lover and I Need Your Lovin. Teena was lined up to perform at London's o2 early next year. The news was first heard via Twitter via Soul Legend Ron Isley's account. RIP

What's up Mutha Luvaz?... hope all is well.. just a little update on my latest mission completed. Myself and DJ Swerve(Kiss FM) got asked to do a song for Blackberry a few months back which they used in a couple of their lounges @ Phones4U stores then they came back and asked us to do a refix which we did and then to our surprise they were so impressed with it they wanted to use it as a viral as well as for seminars and presentations etc, personally i was like "i believe when i c it".. and well.... here it is..

Pete Rock On DJ Premier Album, Producing Drums On "Runaway"

Yesterday I caught up with the legendary Pete Rock backstage in London.
On the agenda was the DJ Premier album and Pete Rock reveals two artists that will appear on the album with Primo. Rapper Big Pooh and CL Smooth are together on one track.
He tells me that he produced the drums of Kanye West’s “Runaway” track (the drums are from Mecca & The Soul Brother).
He recounts the first time he met the DJ Premier and explains the 5 albums he is releasing in 2011 including one with Camp Lo and another with CL Smooth.

SNEAKERPEDIA LAUNCH AT THE QUEEN OF HOXTON - CLARK KENT - DJ MK - BOBBITO
So last Wednesday saw the launch party for Sneakerpedia in London's Queen of Hoxton. I was spinning down there alongside my man Bobbito and Clark Kent and i have to say it was a pretty good party. The crowd was a mixture of fit girls, sneaker heads, as well celebs. Classic Hip Hop was played, everyone drunk out the free bar, and Bob and Clark tore it down...I must admit, having to go on and spin after Clark Kent is NO easy feet, but i handled it, and took care of Business!!!

Stylah has united faces from the UK urban scene for his directorial debut, "Prologue", filmed in the style of Nickelback's hit video, Rockstar. Each of the 25 + cameos perform a line from the track which happens to be the intro to Stylah's debut album Treading Water, out on iTunes now.

Stylah remarked "People always tell me that I have an ability to say what other people are thinking so I thought it would be a powerful visual to have the collective UK scene rapping the words to my song. It also gave an opportunity for me to put some people from different sides of the scene who would never normally work with each other on the same project."
