MK IN DUBAI PART 2!!!

So it's 1.07am and i got back from dubai an hour ago....wolfed down some good indian takeaway,and i have to leave in just under 2hrs to go to Gatwick to get on an early early flight to Ibiza...No sleep again, but you know what i aint complaining... i love this life...

So the party last night at club Chi in Dubai was crazy....it was a dj's dream...Perfect set up, good sound system, good crowd. It was one of those nights where the energy was INTENSE and i managed to kill it for 2 and a half hours...

Dubai is an amazing place, with some of the kindest people i've ever met in my life...it's like stepping into the future, with some of the most amazing architecture in the world. The hotels are 5 star and you feel like your a millionaire...

This was my 6th trip to dubai in a year and a half and i've never had any problems with customs.... as most of you know already, the drum n bass legend Grooverider is in prison out their for possession for a small amount of weed. There are currently 4 european dj's in prison for drug offences.....nearly all are for amounts so small they are invisable to the naked eye... True story... there was a dude who ate a poppy bagel at Heathrow, a single seed stuck to his clothing...he got searched at Dubai airport and ended up in prison for 2 months before he got out... Even if your the most tee-total person in the world you have to be very carful when you go out there.

When i entered customs in Dubai i was pulled over and asked what i was doing there...i replied i was there for business...i didnt wanna say the words"im djing out here" knowing that they view most dj's as some type of druggies....... Once i said im djing here....i got pulled over...stuff searched...asked alot of questions blah blah blah.... i kept on having visions of meeting grooverider in prison but as i knew i was innocent i knew i didnt have anything to worry about....After 20 min i was greated with a smille and told i could go...Just as well i didnt eat a poppy seeded bagel.......


Oh yeah and when i was leaving the country today the dude at passport control didnt believe that my passport pic was me!!!!
More drama.....after a second opinion from his mate i was let thru....Pick up to cyrus and the crew out there!!!
