In 1999 i went to Baltimore for the 1st time with Roots manuva to do a show in Baltimore. I think we must have been the 1st UK artists to do a show out there.The show went down crazy and everybody loved it. On my travels i think I've been to nearly every state in America apart from Alaska and Kansas. Baltimore (with New Orleans in close 2nd place) has to be the most GHETTO spot ive ever been to.
It's crazy down there, they have the highest Murder rate in the US and its common place to see a cue 20 deep of people buying rock in the middle of the day.
The people of Baltimore are some of the coolest people you could meet ,with alot of talent.
