Ever since S-X -- the 18 year old Wolverhampton producer -- was catapulted to cult status following the release of "Woooo Riddim" (one of the biggest grime beats of all time), an entire genre has been anxious to see what the young prodigy has in store.
S-X describes his critically acclaimed productions as "S-X Music", a sound of his own that he doesn't want pigeon-holed... this has weaved throughout genres such as Hip-Hop for Chipmunk, bassline for Trilla and urban/pop for Encore. Due to initially being championed by the grime scene, and now working on everything from dance records with Roll Deep to trap records with Cash Money CEO Birdman, S-X thought it was only right to thank his initial supporters by making his 5,000 Followers EP strictly at 140bpm. While still being a sound of his own and incorporating an eclectic mix of influences, the "5,000 Followers EP" is a nod to the scene that gave the wonderkid his initial break.
