GULLYVER LAST SATURDAY NIGHT @PLATIC PEOPLE WITH DJ MK & A-CYDE

So last Saturday was the last gullyver session at plastic people in East London. Back in 2002 me and A-cyde both djed at spot in islington and we both said to each other"lets just play exactly what we want" That night we just played sick music.... Hip Hop,Soul,Bashment, even some 80's Pop. The result was amazing and this was before dj's really played "eclectic" sets. This gave us the idea to do a club night like that on the regs... 2 years later GULLYVER was born.

The party last Saturday was easily one of the best parties in London full stop. I think what makes the club so good is that its all about the music and the vibes there is so good. Look out for the "DAD HOUR" Podcast, which me and A-cyde will be recording next week.

Shout out to everyone who came down to the nite....At 2am we locked the doors,stopped letting people in (as we were capacity) and went on till 5am!!!! Shout out to Fats and Coco Black on the snap snap...Big up to Roxy for the suprise dj set too...Look out for the GULLYVER special in New York early next year.

SATURDAY- GULLYVER @ Plastic People with MK-A-CYDE-HARRY LOVE

After a 9 hour flight from Abu Dhabi i got home to London then had to go straight to GULLYVER
Gullyver was emotional,hot, sweaty, ram, and ALOT of fun. We partied till nearly 5am. This month saw special guest Harry Love tear it down. he destroyed it with his MJ set, and the vibes were good all night. Big shout out to everyone who came down...heres some photos curtosy of my homeboy rod...

All i can say is WOW, and big up to everyone who came down to Gullyver @ Plastic people Saturday just gone. We opened the doors just after 11pm and by 12.30 it was one in one out and a long ass cue down the road

Shout out to my homeboy Fats who took some amazing pic of the night, but his memory card got corrupted and the photos got lost. Shout out as ever to Mr Cyde for killing it on the tables.....

I cant stress as a dj, how refreshing it is to spin down there. If you know how to read the crowd right you can play litterly anything down there, Reggae, Soul, Funk, Rock, Pop, Grime, ......as long as its goood....no wackness... I went from Jay z's a Millie version, to Busta"s Bass, into Beastie boys Hold it now hit it, into Eazy E Dope Boyz, into Blak mags and the 808 on all of those records are RIDICULOUS.....The sound system at Plastic People is the best in London....hands down...and i thought my chest was gonna cave in with the Bass..
