Weekend just gone was wicked. Sunday i smashed it on the radio with Blitz and on the sat and fri i was in Split in Croatia alongside Roots Manuva. Rodney is in work mode hard!!! Every time i see im, he's playing me new beats and they all sound sick.
Croatia is one of the first cities outside of the UK that i djed in back in 97 and I've been coming out here almost every year since.
We landed at 8 in the morning and by that time it was already nearly 30 degrees. Nice and hot just the way i like it. The hotel was jiggy, had breakfast by the pool, then caught 2 hours kip...sound check...fish restaurant...then stage. The show went wicked.The crowd had so much energy. We were on for 55 minutes the crowd were loving it , then we got shut down by the police. The promoter ran up to me on stage and said if we played one more tune, the police would start getting the bats out. Police out there don't play, so that was the last tune. We got cut short but it was all good. Shout out to Phat Phillie tha gangsta!!!!
