CLASSIC OLD SCHOOL UK HIP HOP LIVE SESSION-SINDECUT LIVE AT SWISS COTTAGE COMMUNITY CENTRE 1986

There are very few good recordings, of live Hip Hop nights in London, apart from the odd Westwood session. Between 1985-87 The Sindecut held court at Swiss Cottage community centre, ramming 500 people in to the best DJ's and MC's of that time. The Sindecut then, was made up of Crazy Noddy, Dj Fingers, and Dave Cash, and on this recording we also here from Sergent Rock and Cutmaster Swift. Whats interesting is ALL the MC'S are spitting with American accents, and alot of break beats are being spun. Classic material!! (Shout out to Dave Cash and Spikey T, living it up down under, still making music, and still sounding good)

So i recorded this mix for Hip Hop Connection magazine in 2004, for the release of there album " Milk Me." Originally the record label wanted me just to mix tracks from the "Milk Me" album, but i managed to persuade them to let me drop some classic Beatnuts as well. The mix came out pretty good, if i say so myself. Download it and let me know.

Another Lord Finesse mix, this time an upfront selection from 1996. Side A is strictly Hip Hop and features Artifacts, Ghostface, Natural Elements and MOP. The flipside is more chilled out with Faith Evans, D'Angelo and Keith Sweat.
Sound quality isn't flawless on this but it definitely has that authentic cassette feel to it!

Lets take it back ten years ago to 1999.
If you wanted to hear good new music, you heard it on mixtapes. Props to letthebrainzblog.blogspot.com, who uploaded this yesterday. So this mixtape was recorded in March 1999, and if i say so myself, is pretty dope. Exclusives, freestyles, good music...You know the deal. I remember i recorded this, a week before by first trip to NYC. I wanted to lace Fat Beats with something new, and i did.
