Last weekend, Roots Manuva, myself, Ricky ranking, and wagga wagga, spent a pleasant Sunday afternoon doing a session for radio 1 at the Maida vale studios.
This was the forth time for us doing one of these sessions for Auntie and its always mad kool. The maida vale studios used to be a skating rink which was then bombed in the war. After the war the BBC bought it when you go there it does look like nothing has changed there in the last 20 years.
Every atrist in the world from the stones to the Beatles to bob Marley have recorded in this studio and you kinda feel a good vibe every time you go there. We recorded 4 exclusive versions of tracks off the new Roots manuva album.
